CID Superfecta not working

Hello all, This is the first time I have posted so... I installed CID Superfecta and it appears to be working when I use the debug feature, however when I place an incoming call to my PBX to test the lookup, it does not work. Only the phone number is displayed and not the name. I tried removing the CID Superfecta and CallerID Lookup Sources modules and re-adding them but still no joy. I am running FreePBX 2.5.1.5

Thanks,

Can you re-install and then do an asterisk -rv and copy/paste what you get when you receive an incoming call? I had to tweak Callerid superfecta to work for me (with 5 digit numbers for Avaya EC500 incoming from work PBX)

In FreePBX and look at the inbound routes. Make sure that you have Superfecta selected as the caller ID source on each inbound route that you want to use this with.

If these are properly specified, please provide the debug output that appears to be working.

We recently learned that the TrixBoxCe version of FreePBX lacks a behavior that Mainline FreePBX has (in 2.5.x); Specifically, If a user creates an inbound DID by putting it in the EXTENSION page, TrixFreePBX does NOT create a visible INBOUND ROUTE, and therefor those DIDs can not be routed through any CID Lookup In freePBX.

In this case, the solutions was to delete the DID reference in the Extension page, and create a Inbound ROute on the Inbound ROute page - which can thenbe run through Caller ID lookups in FreePBX.

DO you think it might be the same thing in this case?

duh... yes I needed to set the caller id source for each inbound route..
Thanks,

Hi guys,
I'm running into the same issue as gotel and an earlier poster, kelinger, who I think you're referring to here.

I'm running TrixboxCE 2.6.2.2, but don't see the same problem with routes being created when adding a DID to the EXTENSIONS page.

Other than that, my problem appears to be the same. I can get debug to show callerid information, but it's not getting displayed on my phone (Aastra 57i/fw2.5.0.82).

I believe I have everything configured correctly, freepbx userid/pw set, Superfecta set on the inbound routes, Superfecta configured in CallerID Sources, "Agree and Save" license terms, etc.

Here is my asterisk output on an inbound call:

I don't think the from-pstn context goes through the same inbound path as the non-digital lines.

I don't see any sign of it passing through the blacklist filter. (If you don't have it installed in FreePBX, install it. It will make a log entry that will help us.) On most systems, FreePBX passes the call throught the assigned CID lookup source right after checking the blacklist for the number. Its one of the first 4-6 lines that appear in the CLI.

The line that gets logged includes the word "cidlookup", which i dont see happening at all in your CLI.

I dont know enough about how channels and banks and groups are set up to understand - but id say your inbound routes - at least as far as the CID assignments, are being ignored.

Anyone with more experience working with digital lines (from-pstn) - please chime in if you have any info about how these calls might be bypassing the FreePBX configuration for CID Lookup.

Same but with from-zaptel

I too am having the same thing. I get no caller ID but Debug does show. Phone is aastra 55i. Will look at logs and post as well. Using POTS lines with TDM800PF Digium card.

Foneman - If you blacklist a number, and then call in to these lines - is the blacklisting working?

Im trying to understand these failures. They seem to happen more often with ZAP and digital lines. Unfortunately, these are the lines that I have the least experience setting up inbound routes for in FreePBX.

What were really trying to figure out is if the zap lines are going through a traditional inbound route - cause if they are, and Superfecta is selected - I cant think of a thing that would make it fail. I just don't know if the inbound routes are working the same.

Please make sure that the caller ID source is properly selected when looking at the inbound route for that trunk.

The inbound route is correct with Superfecta listed.

Can you post your debug info...I'm curious what sources you are using?

Also, if you are using the "Trunk Provided" source, please disable that one and see if that changes anything.

Is that exactly what you're seeing in the debug? If so it appears there is some information missing about which source took 0.0003 seconds. Please look at your list of enabled sources and let me know what source should be there, and disable that source and see if it fixes your issue.

Infact, disable all sources and add them back one by one until the issue shows up again.
