Download Apologies
We want to apologize for the difficulties some of you are experiencing in downloading our new baby. Apparently, a few others were equally excited about its release. Here is our dilemma. Our download site, pbxinaflash.net, was being used not only for ISO downloads, but also to provide the VMware modules and install scripts that bring PBX in a Flash to life for everybody. Without access to pbxinaflash.net, no one could complete the install process. Because of the hammering the site was taking with huge ISO downloads, it meant that even those that got the ISO could not complete the install because, by then, they may have lost access to the site.
In fairness to everyone, we've taken the following steps for the short term. You still can obtain a free ISO download from Aretta Communications, our East Coast mirror site. Free Mid-West and West Coast mirror sites should be on line later this evening. And you still can obtain a free torrent, the VMware modules, and the install scripts from pbxinaflash.net. For other locations, or if the free download sites are hammered, and until we can sign up some more alternate download sites with free bandwidth, we have put up a pay-as-you-go download site which is accessible through pbxinaflash.net. The way this works is that you pay $5 with a credit card to download the ISO. You then can email the link to a friend who pays nothing for the subsequent download. When that friend releases the link that is provided, you can give it to another friend. It's not free, but it is dirt cheap, and it gives us lots of bandwidth in a hurry. So, if you're in a hurry, spring for the $5. Otherwise, check back in a few days or at a different time of day and try again. Or better yet, use the torrent. You'll still have the ISO by morning. The more torrents that are seeded, the easier this will be for everyone during the mad rush. Again, our apologies! We appreciate your understanding.

Increased Bandwidth at Aretta
Ward --
We have up'ed our bandwidth on the server at Aretta that's hosting the ISO download to try and help out with the speed. Even so, we're still seeing a ton of simultaneous downloads. I believe it will start to get better once the initial wave passes.
Looks like you've created a monster!

At this point I think the torrents are the most viable option. I have a box that is uploading at over a MB/s and there are over 20 seeds. The good thing about Bittorrent is the more people downloading the better!

Thanks, Marc. Must be nice sitting two milliseconds away from the Internet backbone. You know what they say about the pioneers and the arrows in the back. Yesterday was one of those days for some of us. Today things will be a little brighter hopefully. The good news is that it could have been a message board full of bug complaints.

Hey Ward, do you think it would be possible to get some type of system setup (either webpage, or a thread) of other sites that are hosting the ISO for download?
I am willing to offer some bandwith from my webserver, if others would also like to join, I think we could greatly reduce the load/stress of your servers.
I have already uploaded the ISO, just let me know what you think.

Don't mind the 5$. Do mind exposing my CC
I don't mind to pay a fee of 5$ to download and share the cost of the BW, now or in the future.
I do mind, however, to expose my CC to an unknown site for such a small transaction.
It would be better to enable the option of paying via clearing services such as PayPal..rather than using the CC directly.

First, this is Dreamhost we're talking about, one of the biggest webhosts on the net. That's almost like not wanting to give your CC info to Amazon. Second, If you feel uncomfortable using your CC, you really don't have to pay for it, there is bittorrent and five other mirrors.

Wanted to let you know that I set up a mirror over at http://pbxinaflash.williamts99.com
Which also includes a metalink.
If you haven't used metalinks check out http://metalinker.org
But basically you can download from all of the mirrors at the same time increasing the speed and reliability of your download.
Best Regards,

Here is a mirror site I also setup. Anyone is welcome to use it. I have 500 GB a month transfer limit, and may only use up 1 GB for all my sites..
