Greetings to helpful PIAF users!

I created a RingPlus PJSIP trunk. Observing data on the wire I see outgoing REGISTER packet with
Contact: <sip:s@my_external_ip:5060>
Subsequently, incoming call is listed in a call log with DID 's'

Does anyone know where that 's' is coming from and how to change it to something more meaningful?

Also, is it more preferable to use SIP trunk? If yes, does anyone have a sample config?

Do I need to specify registration string? Your screenshot does not include it.
Outgoing calls work but incoming seems to use registration from deleted pjsip trunk.
Added standard registration string in user : [email protected] format and incoming calls now work.

My original question still stands: There are no DID changes after switching from pjsip to sip trunk. CDR reports page show 's' in DID column.
I am observing REGISTER..Contact: <sip:s@my_external_ip:5061> on the wire.

IMHO, PJSIP is so not ready for prime time. I'd suggest just disabling PJSIP in the advanced features and stick with SIP only. My experience has been that it never quite works like you want it to. I gave up on PJSIP a long time ago.

Did you add /8005551212 with your RP number in the registration string? Did you create an inbound route for your DID?

After reading registration string description I added /myRPnumber and incoming calls started to show up with its DID in CDR reports page.
However in order for CID Superfecta to work I had to create a dedicated incoming route. There is an unanswered topic I started some time ago.
I hate to create a dedicated incoming route for each trunk just to enable CID Superfecta. This is ridiculous.

Going back to my original question. Is there a way to specify DID for PJSIP trunk?
