Looks like there's finally a SIP DECT phone worth owning. We've ordered it and will add the optional handsets if anyone wants to play along in coming weeks. 8 simultaneous calls, IPv6 support, POE support, repeaters, and more...

To get started, read this thread on DSL Reports. Covers almost everything you'd want to know.

I have their TGP500 model in service since June 2010 - it's a workhorse. Let us know your experience. I've been considering updating and trust your review...

Not sure we can add much to the exhaustive DSL Reports discussion, but we were looking for something to use with all of our RingPlus lines. And this looks like a perfect fit with support for 8 lines.

That DSLR thread has been going strong for almost a year. I'd been following it, but hadn't decided to bite. What prompted you to buy at this time? The recently released firmware?

Just finally caught my breath long enough to set aside some time to test the latest SIP DECT phones. Got the new Yealink model as well:

I've been deploying the Yealink W52P for a while now - been pretty solid reliability wise, albeit slightly limited in features if you need them seemingly (we don't). They have another new kind out but I haven't seen it yet.

I've got a KX-TGP600 with 5 A60's and a A65, and the repeater. Works great with IPBX and Xivo.

Do get the latest firmware (released 6/29) for Xivo. Questions? Please ask

I have to add - there is a newer Yealink that looks more promising - I am very interested to see a comparison to the Panasonic TGP500 and the W52P phones and the TGP600 and W56P phones - Looking at upgrading both my older Panasonic and Yealink phones to the newer model...
