QUESTION follow me based on time condition

Hi,
Is there a way to get follow me to ring extensions (and /or) external phones based on a time.
for example, from 9-5 if i dont answer my extension it should ring my cell. and from 5 - 9, it should ring my assistants cell.

I don't think so in follow me. You'd be able to accomplish the same by using ring groups for the specific times (ie one ring group with your extension and cell in it) and appropriate hunt strategies.

So basically i set a time condition 9 -5 and if matches go to ring group. if it does not match, check a second time condition between 5-9pm, if matches go to a second ring group and if not go to a voicemail or extension.

it works, thank you.

would be nice if someone the actual follow me or ring group, had an internal time condition. but i guess it does the same.

Here is what I just tried
1 set up 2 misc dest 1 for your cell and the other for the assistant
2 create a time group for the desired days and hours
3 create the time condition pointing to your tg
3a set destination if time matches to misc dest and select your cell
3b set destination if time does not match to misc dest and select assistant cell
4 add follow me for the desired extension leave everything at defaults
4a scroll to bottom and change destination if no answer to time condition and select the desired tc

the problem with this is that i have 2 times 9-5 and also 5-9 that match a cell phone and the third time (9 till 9 the next day) should go to extension only.
your solution is missing the last part.
or am i mistaken?

1 set up 2 misc dest 1 for your cell and the other for the assistant
2 create 2 time groups
2a tg no-followme m-f 0100 0001-0900 and m-f 2100-2359
2b tg followme m-f 0900-1700
3 create 2 time conditions
3a tc no-followme points to tg no-followme
3b set destination if time matches to extensions and select your ext voice mail
3c set destination if time does not match to time conditions and select tc followme
3d tc followme points to tg followme
3e set destination if time matches to misc dest and select your cell
3f set destination if time does not match to misc dest and select assistant cell
4 add follow me for the desired extension leave everything at defaults
4a scroll to bottom and change destination if no answer select time condition and then select no-followme
