I doubt Ward has gotten into selling PCs out of his house. ;)

Besides, this thread is well-over a year old which airwolf3000 seems to have missed.

or do you have a laptop or desktop that is already with everything included with dvd and the ram etc...?

    thank you

sorry for asking again, its just that i tried using a laptop from asus running windows 8 and i just cant get the lan driver to work, so i want to buy a proper computer that will work out of the box.
can i search any dual core atom pc and that would work? or do i need specific parts of something specific to buy? or better yet can you send me a link of a laptop or bare-bone computer with the components to purchase that will work out of the box without having to figure out how to get the lan drivers to work.

thank you very much in advance.

I don't want to sound rude, but if networking and installing without a optical drive is proving to be too difficult for you the rest of the project will likely leave you VERY frustrated.

your not being rude, you comments are just not a solution to any problem and therefore keep them to yourself or help, this forum is for helping not apologizing for being rude!
i got it installed with a USB drive, so no problems there and it was easy. i was not so much worried about an optical drive, i was more asking about how do know which NIC card will work and is supported for linux, as the computers i have are not supported for linux and it took me 3 days to figure out how to get it working which you can see the results here if anyone is having the same issue with their LAN drivers on new laptops:
    http://pbxinaflash.com/community/index.php?threads/installing-centos-6-5.14742/

maybe someone knows if there is a list of lan cards supporting in centos or a good source to buy centos computers and supplies because all new computers for windows 8 is a pain to install centos on them!
