Hi
I cannot install PIAF 3.1.0 on my new hardware. I've installed it few months ago on similiar hardware, but now installer hang up with black screen after newmenu start (precisely piafdl doesnt work) If I select VIAF:
Code:
Unfortunately you are not using a recognized Operating System
or a proper version this means PIAF cannot be installed.
we only recognize Centos 6.5 and Scientific Linux 6.5
installed from the minmal ISO provided by the respective OS projects
Then piaf3-preinstall MUST be run. This is currently the
ONLY supported method. Now exiting

I have installed CentOS from x86_64 6.7 minimal installer, like old installation.

Code:
 uname -r
2.6.32-573.22.1.el6.x86_64

cat /etc/redhat-release
CentOS release 6.7 (Final)

md5sum /usr/local/sbin/piafdl
0213d3d509ea4b7a2cfb555cf35ce0c8 /usr/local/sbin/piafdl

yum info piafdl
Loaded plugins: fastestmirror
Loading mirror speeds from cached hostfile
* base: ba.mirror.garr.it
* extras: ba.mirror.garr.it
* updates: ba.mirror.garr.it
Installed Packages
Name : piafdl
Arch : x86_64
Version : 1.0
Release : 1
Size : 281 k
Repo : installed
From repo : piaf3
Summary : piafdl
URL : http://www.pbxinaflash.org
License : Closed source. May use and distribute freely but not modify or
  : reverse engineer
Description : This is strictly a downloader program that has no part in the
: build of any open source program. No source is available for this
  : program.

older working pbx
Code:
 uname -r
2.6.32-573.7.1.el6.x86_64

cat /etc/redhat-release
CentOS release 6.7 (Final)

Steps tried:
sed -i 's|no|yes|' /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0
ifup eth0
setenforce 0
yum -y upgrade
yum -y install net-tools nano wget
ifconfig # to figure out your server IP address here
sed -i 's|quiet|quiet net.ifnames=0 biosdevdame=0|' /etc/default/grub
grub2-mkconfig -o /boot/grub2/grub.cfg
# for CentOS/Scientific Linux 6.5/6.6 only, perform these additional steps:
wget http://pbxinaflash.com/update-kernel-devel
chmod +x update-kernel-devel
./update-kernel-devel
reboot

Now we’re ready to begin the PIAF3 install. Issue the following commands to get started:

cd /root
wget http://pbxinaflash.com/piaf3-install.tar.gz
tar zxvf piaf3-install.tar.gz
./piaf3-install

Am I the only one with that problem?
EDIT:
ok, found another user with that problem

http://pbxinaflash.com/community/threads/piaf-3-install-stuck-with-black-screen.19220/

I've solved like this:
nano /usr/local/sbin/mirrors.dl, deleted 192.210.137.132 and www.nerdvittles.dreamhosters.com/pbxinaflash
then wait after piafdl (or newmenu) command
EDIT2:
BUT!!
It start to install, but it ends saying that i need tho check my internet connectivity :(
EDIT3:

After some attempt it worked

I had to kill the process that was trying to download something from 192.210.137.132. After I killed the process the install continued. I don't know if everything will work now. I hope so.

I am having this same issue, as of today, following everything mentioned above. Only get a black screen that sits forever. Running CentOS 6.8.

Are there any other solutions or directions someone can point me in? I cannot find anything else regarding this issue

I stand corrected. For some reason that process started over and changing mirrors.dl was not saving correctly. Once rebooting, it would rewrite to default. Installation has seemed to started correctly.
