Looks like a great addon, of course I would like it better if it did AAstra phones, but maybe now I will get the courage to try a Cisco phone.

PM me the download link please, thank you.

Would love an Aastra to develop apps for - in the mean time join us at #pbxinaflash

Andy and I are working out some killer upgrades.

If you want the source now - send me an email ([email protected])

If you want to wait until tomorrow for huge revisions, I will add you to the list.

Thanks for the interest!

Just keeps getting better and better. There's no add-on for a jabber server for PiaF though, is there?

This module requires NO dependencies! PHP takes care of it all!

I have almost completed adding three tier user level layer - admins can set end user, reception, and admin permission levels.

The tiers are as follows :

Admin - full system access as well as global configuration, user management, and t*f*t*p options.

Reception - receives all inbound notifications with option to transfer, spy and take notes / calendar.

User - receives notifications on given inbound extension set by admin. Ability to take notes and use the calendar.

Monthly billing reports will also be available to all levels. Users can select "Billable" on call notes and have a PDF invoice generated (optionally emailed) to clients on a monthly basis.

We are looking into adding this as a FreePBX module to encourage usage and ease installation.

We no longer use popup.agi as we have secured curl to ping a remote system. We are trying to get this app to work on remote web servers as well for those who would like to have this available over the internet.

Will keep you all posted - no pun intended.

Program is working great. I have two questions.
1 Stickies pop up for all extensions even remote ones.

2 Can this be used to call other extensions. I tried using 712 and sip/712 but neither of worked.

Thanks,

jeff

A notice to all - Andy and I have rewritten almost EVERYTHING dialplan wise and you should have no problem with any protocol on any channel.

Instead of using SIP/trunk/${EXTEN} we now use Local/${EXTEN}@form-internal

This will fix all of your dial out woes.

Expect new source available by 3PM Tuesday March 17 2009.

As always you can check my updates at :

Asteristickies - clever name eh?

Polycom / Linksys

Hi,

Have you tried it with Polycom & Linksys phones ? I have access to some units and I could test it.

If I could get my hands on some devices - I could no doubt expand the list.

To upgrade should we just install over the older program?

Thanks,

Jeff

Depends, if you have a ton of contacts in your phonebook already - the databases wont like each other much.

You would have to drop the old services DB and start over (instructions are on the usual page)

The database should remain pretty static at this point - you may want to remove popup.php form /var/lib/asterisk/agi-bin

An auto-installer script has been written for FRESH installs.

Find me at #pbxinaflash or PM (with your email) for the script.

I have tested it thoroughly on a VM (about 7 times on a fresh PiaF)

Very impressive application. Will it work with Polycom SIP 501? I am not usinf the t*f*t*p server for storing the Polycom Config files.
Where is the download link?

PM me with your email for a download link.

Polycom will not be supported until I receive a donor in the mail.

I am awaiting a Nortel i2004 as well as SPA941 from two very generous forum members.

As of today this application is considered "stable" though YMMV.

A note to everyone currently using stickies - duplicate stickies were being generated on the stickies page - you can eliminate that by either updating your phonebook directory or removing stickies() from system/application/views/admin/stickies.php

Let me know if you find anything out of the ordinary.
