    Aastra 57i CT questions

You should easily be able to cover that distance... I have one client that uses the 57ct. His business is an indoor baseball training facility. He's got a very large warehouse type setup...I'm not sure of the exact size, but it's VERY large...Multiple batting cages and pitching areas, etc...

    Aastra 57i CT questions

One extension, but capable of using multiple lines at a time... So, if you get a call on line 1, you can answer it on the base or the cordless. Another call comes in, and you can again answer it on either the base or cordless. If you're on the base, and pick up the cordless, you can pick up...

    Cellphones for Extensions

To call out from the PBX, use a speed dial on the cell and setup up DISA on the PBX. I have a speed dial on my phone that calls my PBX, waits, enters the DISA code/password, and then gives me dialtone from the PBX. I then just dial the number I want to call. Call appears to come from my...

    SUGGESTIONS Aastra XML 2.3.0 Scripts

Ok. I'll upgrade the firmware and see if that resolves the Visual Voicemail. Based on what you posted, it doesn't look like the 2.3.0 scripts are compatible with the firmware. I'll report back!

    SUGGESTIONS Aastra XML 2.3.0 Scripts

I have not tried updating the firmware. When I originally installed this phone about 6 months ago, I updated the firmware and it introduced an issue with the phone randomly answering inbound calls via the speaker phone. I can't recall if that was F/W 2.5.3.18 or 2.5.3.2002, but it wasn't 2.6...

    SUGGESTIONS Aastra XML 2.3.0 Scripts

Aastra 57i Visual Voicemail Locking Up Phone I moved a client to a new installation of PIAF from another installation of PIAF. Everything works great, except the visual voicemail, which worked find before. Now when accessing visual voicemail from the main phone (A 57i) you can see the...

Problem with Aastra 57i autoanswering on normal (not intercom) calls

I've got a client that is seeing this issue also... What's interesting is, this phone was mine for 2 years and never once had this issue. Before I sold the phone to the client, I upgraded the firmware. This was about 3 months ago. They've had the "Auto Answer" issue since then. It seems...

    XO Communications Outage - Vitelity

The issue with calls completing from AT&T wireless seems to be resolved now... So, as far as I can tell, everything is working again...

    XO Communications Outage - Vitelity

It would seem as though they are partially back... I'm still seeing issues when calls are made from AT&T wireless at least, and possibly all of AT&T, getting "Disconnected" messages. Calls from Verizon, Surewest and others seem to be working to the same numbers...

    XO Communications Outage - Vitelity

Same here... Luckily, I guess, my number is down too, so none of my customer's can call and complain...

    Vitelity Congestion!!!

I had the same issue on 3 of the clients that I have on Vitelity. It may have effected more, but they didn't call. I resolved it by rebooting the boxes, causing them to re-register. That seemed to "Fix" it. All 3 boxes were getting busy signals. They could make outbound calls, but no...

A few questions regarding AASTRA's Cordless phones

I'm nor sure that's accurate. I've only used the 57ict once, but I recall it was able to access all 4 lines I had set up on the base, allowing someone on the cordless to make a call on one of the other lines while someone was using the base. The client that this phone was installed at had a...

    Headset Question for Aastra 57i

The 57i's support EHS (I forget what they call it, but same type of thing) via the expansion module port. It requires a special cord. Most VoIP equipment providers likely have the necessary hardware.
