    BUG Ubuntu Upgrade Breaks MySQL

For clarity. Mysql runs on port 3306, Asterisk Manager runs on 5038. Just in case some one on the internet looks this up in the future so that they don't get confused.

PIONEERS Incredible PBX for Pogoplug 4

Here's a two line fix that will last forever. This solution is not hacky. It will last through all upgrades of FreePBX because it's the supported way to do this things. /var/lib/asterisk/bin/freepbx_setting ASTMANAGERHOST 127.0.0.1 /var/lib/asterisk/bin/freepbx_setting ASTMANAGERPORT 5038

PIONEERS Incredible PBX for Pogoplug 4

You changed the asterisk manager connection. Not the mysql connection, your mysql connection is fine, otherwise you would have been modifying freepbx.conf not "php-asmanager.php" (which btw "asmanager" should give you the hint that it's not mysql). and you changed it because the word "localhost"...

PIONEERS Incredible PBX for Pogoplug 4

I would be super curious to see the output of "amportal a dbug" on a pogoplug... (you run dbug before a page refresh, capture the output, paste here)

FYI Where is "System Admin" module?

It doesn't bother me. It bothered you which is why you are the one who took my sole comment (I'm talking about 69 different downloads here) about releases and turned it into a full blown reply. Thanks for the answers on everything and I do know the 1.7.7.x releases work as of now. But I do...

SUGGESTIONS MySQL Error: FreePBX Won't Start

We are just trying to be helpful to your community, we are not trying to push our own product but the fact remains that it is fixed in our own distro in an init.d script, I've pretty much written out what the init.d script should look like. I never had to reply in this thread with the fix or the...

FYI Where is "System Admin" module?

wardmundy You take ONE single comment from my thread and take it and run. I don't know why you took that one comment out of everything I said... You have many releases of your software on many different platforms. It's hard for me to follow. I said nothing wrong about it, nor did I attack it...

FYI Where is "System Admin" module?

There's a lot of factually incorrect dialogue in here so I'm going to clear the air with a more concise response from the FreePBX/Schmoozecom Development team (of which James is a member but he didn't go into enough detail for everyone here) First off all commercial modules in FreePBX require...

SUGGESTIONS MySQL Error: FreePBX Won't Start

The FreePBX Distro only. This is a distro level feature. I have said that several times now. It is up to your distro to add this (FreePBX itself can't)

SUGGESTIONS MySQL Error: FreePBX Won't Start

Look at your own profile page I was able to find the original issue with the fix: http://pbxinaflash.com/community/index.php?threads/fix-mysql-db-error.14750/#post-94733 and no it has not been added to any piaf installs. It is in the FreePBX distro. Has been there for months.

    PIONEERS Yealink T46G phone

I am confused why you are distributing this separately when all of your commits have been submitted back to the project "https://github.com/freepbx/endpointman/issues?q=is%3Apr+is%3Aclosed" So is/are this different than what you provided to me? Seems like it if you are saying so. So why don't...

SOLVED FreePBX ARI Framework Update Fails and Disabled - Pi

Of note this was fixed 12 hours ago. I don't know how you were able to apply the wrong version 1 hour ago.

    FYI Caller ID with XBMC

Also of note is that fact that lgaetz does this in his spare time and is not paid for it (though he does use a version of FreePBX in his company). He would never brag about that though :) Open Source at it's finest

FOOD FOR THOUGHT Xenforo: PIAF Forum [discussion thread]

I agree but forum companies like VBulletin and xenforo hardline on the "old forum" design. They won't change their ways. Out of all the "old school" thinking on forums Xenforo does the best job. When people say that phpBB is flawed in security because it uses PHP and then use Xenforo or...

FOOD FOR THOUGHT Xenforo: PIAF Forum [discussion thread]

There are categories. Which are exactly the same as "forums" and require no searching. We have those same categories you mentioned already (plus more): http://community.freepbx.org/category/general-help http://community.freepbx.org/category/beta-program-issues

QUIRK New PIAF Forum + More

That is what I am referring too and as Ward pretty much mentioned, unless you are on this specific host.... I am not simply pulling this out of my butt. I went through this deeply with Ward and Tom back in the day, we looked at requests. It's not opinion. It's fact. :) And this host does...

QUIRK New PIAF Forum + More

As stated multiple times in other threads it is NOT a xenforo issue. Not at all. Don't go bug them about it as there is nothing they can do. It's because the server (this server hosting these forums) has a security modification built into php that blocks certain keywords.

Although you are using 2.9 or lower we are rewriting MoH and System Recordings for FreePBX 13. Think html5 playback.

TIPS New guy, lots of questions [RasPBX+IPBX]

Yes and no. PBX in a Flash does not specifically have an IRC channel, or an active one in that sense. For FreePBX there is an active IRC channel and an active dev channel. http://wiki.freepbx.org/display/GHWF/Connecting+to+IRC
