SUGGESTIONS Looking for someone to take over support in the NYC area

Where abouts in the NYC area? I'm on LI and willing to cross one bridge to potential clients, not two.

TIPS Poor Quality (Lag) with new customer..

Bandwidth isn't the problem here unless it's being overutilized. Technically 3mb would be enough for 48 calls using ulaw. The problem is latency. You need to use a jitterbuffer.

SUGGESTIONS Aastra XML scripts 2.3.1 Beta

I've given up on the Aastra scripts and use the Schmoozecom RESTApps + Endpoint Manager Pro. The cost is minimal (for now at least, the REST apps are still free and I'm not sure what they're going to cost), plus I like giving back to Schmooze as it helps fund FreePBX development.

    FreePBX 2.10

I've had my office on 2.10 for a week now and it's been working great. The only issue I've had are dropped parked calls every now and then, but I'm positive that those are related to the Aastra XML scripts. I like the new UI a lot! One other thing. In the CDR I don't see any files for...

    Aastra Frustration

I'm with forking the scripts and setting up a repo. The fact that we don't have access to the firmware seems like a moot point. If Aastra is focusing on working with Linc, then it's at its core using SIP. If MS and Asterisk both remain compliant to RFCs then shouldn't everything work fine on...

What needs to be modified to make them work on FreePBX 2.9?

SUGGESTIONS Aastra XML scripts 2.3.1 Beta

I'm using the 57is. There was an issue in the 2x branch with transfers - I'm not sure it was addressed there, I'll have to look it up.

SUGGESTIONS Aastra XML scripts 2.3.1 Beta

I'm having lots of issues. Phones are rebooting, transfers are dropping, etc. Not having much luck with asterisk 1.8.4, latest Aastra firmware and the latest version of these scripts.

SUGGESTIONS Aastra XML scripts 2.3.1 Beta

So here's an interesting problem. We have two receptionists who use sidecars on their 57i phone. They have a panel filled with BLF/Xfer extensions. When they use the sidecar to pick up a call on someone's desk, the caller id will show the current caller as having the number **300 (for ext 300...

SUGGESTIONS Aastra XML scripts 2.3.1 Beta

Upgrading to Asterisk 1.8.4 seems to have broken the scripts. When it runs it doesn't put the extension in "sip line1 auth name:" in the xml file. When I put it in there manually I can make outgoing calls, but not incoming. I'm investigating to see what happened.

SUGGESTIONS Aastra XML scripts 2.3.1 Beta

My BLF issue had nothing to do w/ the Aastra scripts, I generated the hints manually and everything is working fine now. I haven't really run into anything that isn't working and we have a fairly large volume of calls here. Nice work!

SUGGESTIONS Aastra XML scripts 2.3.1 Beta

Sure, I can try but I'm not certain it's an endpoint related issue. I don't have any hints for any local extensions in my dialplan for some reason.

SUGGESTIONS Aastra XML scripts 2.3.1 Beta

I've been running them all day and they seem good - haven't had any problems yet. The only thing that was off was trivial - in the check_install utility where it checks to see if you have USEDEVSTATE=true in amportal.conf, it's checking to see if you're running asterisk 1.6. I have that...

    Fax option like Elastix

I've had great success using IAXmodem + hylafax with a PRI. This is the solution that is bundled with Elastix. I haven't dropped one fax (we're heavy on faxing - at least 300 per day).

Problem with Aastra 57i autoanswering on normal (not intercom) calls

The newest firmware didn't help. I anxiously await the 2.5 firmware. I wish there were a beta I could try out...

Problem with Aastra 57i autoanswering on normal (not intercom) calls

I have an installation of 25 Aastra 57i's and I really want to love these phones. The one major problem I have is that every once in a while one on some of the extensions calls come in that are autoanswered as if they were intercom calls. There's no autoanswer in the sip and no real reason as...
