    PIONEERS IncredFax RasPi 2020

Next question from me...is this compatible with the SPAM blocking measures outlined here: http://nerdvittles.com/?p=27313 My first attempt had iBPX2020 answering the faxes with the "press 5 to continue" prompt, and the faxes were never received because the system would hang up. As far as I...

    PIONEERS IncredFax RasPi 2020

Woot Woot! It doesn't do anything for the other faxes that were sent earlier and are stuck in the received folder, but it does look like the new ones will be delivered just fine. Too bad their isn't a way to run the received fax queue like there is for email to force an attempt at...

    PIONEERS IncredFax RasPi 2020

I have tried a third clean install. I did everything in the original post here. Verified email and also did a "apt upgrade && apt dist-upgrade". I upgraded modules and installed phonebook, calendar, tts_engines, text to speech, time conditions modules. I configured two inbound DIDs with...

    PIONEERS IncredFax RasPi 2020

Yes, this is on a clean install followed by the steps exactly and yes, I can send emails from my system. Basically, I followed the Instructions here, including my voip.ms trunks and exim email, then moved to the instructions at the beginning of this thread. I can see the .tif files in the...

    PIONEERS IncredFax RasPi 2020

Ok, now I've taken a clean install and set this up. The IAX modems came up, and according to the faxzero service they were able to deliver a fax to my DID. However, the fax does not show up in the inbox, it seems to stuck in /var/spool/hylafax/recvq/fax000000001.tif

I was afraid you would say that...Fortunately I'm still playing with this so I haven't customized it too much. At least I got Lenny working ;)

    PIONEERS IncredFax RasPi 2020

Next question: Is this supposed to work with the CallerID Magic code? I saw the FAX attempt, but the caller ID verification code intercepted and asked the fax to hit "5". Of course it didn't so Asterisk hung up. I tried disabling Superfecta on the inbound route, but it still prompted for...

    PIONEERS IncredFax RasPi 2020

Update #2...The /usr/local/sbin/faxgetty is for the wrong architecture. But what I don't know is when it got there...probably by my poking around and trying things over the past few days before finding this thread. I did find /usr/sbin/faxgetty that works so I renamed the /usr/local/sbin...

    PIONEERS IncredFax RasPi 2020

I think I might need a little more handholding on this one. None of the modem devices will come online: Did I miss something? How were the modem devices created? I have been playing with getting the other fun stuff working on this system, so I don't know if I foo-bar'ed anything before...

GOOD NEWS Peepl, it's time to stop whispering to the clouds! with speech to text (STT) transcription

Are we trying to get to a script that we can download and execute to incorporate this, especially for the Pi4?

    FOOD FOR THOUGHT Upgrade advice

I have downloaded the ISO and have received my free license, but after some research, I'm not sure upgrading is a good move for me no matter how tempting it is to try the new v5. I currently run PBXinaFlash on my Rpi. It seems to be working fine without intervention for the past year, but has...

FOOD FOR THOUGHT Trunk through existing older PBXinaFlash?

So at the end of my lunch hour of researching v5, I'm wondering if I can use the one trunk available in v5 to trunk to an existing PBXinaFlash system. The existing system can keep track of all the external sip trunks for incoming/outgoing calls. That doesn't help with the other features I use...

FOOD FOR THOUGHT 1 Trunk Limit is a no-go ; 8 sim calls OK

I have the same issue and the more I research, the more I think the free version isn't for me (and I'm not going to pay for a higher license). I currently use the older Raspberry Pi version and have multiple sip trunks set up. I have one main SIP trunk and three to redundant servers from my...

GO HERE 3CX Free - > Paid. HOW?

Can't wait to hear about this. My thoughts echo right along with everyone else who has posted. I'd rather figure things out myself and come here for support. I like to run the latest, but only at home so many of the licenses I see out there are overkill for home use. One exception to that...

    SOLVED Can't Find Avantfax!

I had to play around with the Kennonsoft configuration to get it to work. Heck, I've got FreePBX 12, so it's always wiping out the index_custom.php file and I have to put it back all the time. Anyway, my welcome/.htindex.cfg file looks like this: 1,recordings,./recordings,Voicemail &...

    BUG Caller ID Superfecta

This is still happening. I'm having no luck with CID Superfecta at all. I've currently moved a large number of numbers into the Asterisk Phonebook and am using the INTERNAL CID lookup source to get any type of callerID. Update: It seems the Multifecta processing was preventing Superfecta from...

Put your server address there. It may not need it, but I haven't tried it. Make it work then remove the proxy and see if it continues to work.

    SOLVED Aastra 480i help needed

Provisioning is the general term used in service provider land to provide all the information required for a service to work. In this case, it simply means setting up your system. So you already have another device provisioned as extension 1001 (a elmeg-ip290). You would need to turn that off...

FOOD FOR THOUGHT One Address Book To Rule Them All?

This would be great! I have a similar setup that syncs my contacts to all my devices/PCs/etc. It also supports CardDAV. I don't know how quick real-time lookups would be, but I could see a setup where a background process uses CardDAV to periodically sync to the asterisk phonebook or some...
