NEWS FLASH Proprietary Distro Gets Proprietary Firewall... finally

1.) Doesn't CentOS7 (their preferred distro for v13) replace iptables w/ firewalld? Their wiki says it requires iptables, but github says it supports CentOS7 (presumably w/ iptables instead) 2.) I look at this as yet another bait-and-switch identical to them not releasing MWI hints for shared...

RECOMMENDATIONS any other cdr products out there?

That's big news Joe... I see you're jumping to nginx/node too. I've been through the installation script, and noticed you've provisioned for CentOS... how functional/usable/whatever is it to attempt install on CentOS? You've got a lot here, just wondering if I should wait a bit.

SUGGESTIONS Aastra XML scripts 2.3.1 Beta

I can tell you that the Visual Voicemail bit Aastra in the arse (which is probably why they stopped development) and is hit or miss w/ the latest Aastra XML Scripts... if you want foolproof, use the 57i's w/ the latest 2.6 firmware and Aastra XML Scripts one release back (I think was 2.3.0, but...

SUGGESTIONS Aastra XML scripts 2.3.1 Beta

+1 Aasrta XML Scripts... they work perfectly fine w/ the exception of the Parking Lot (which was rewritten for Schmooze's commercial module), they are the simplest, easiest, most capable way imho.

FYI Voicemail BLF with FreePBX 2.11

If you could offer some direction as to what needs to be done, I'd love to be the guinea pig or whatever, test it, and get it going on our current PiaF... have no problem troubleshooting or figuring out (just not sure how to pull from SRPMs).

FYI Voicemail BLF with FreePBX 2.11

Unfortunately not that I'm aware, and I *really, really, really* do wish they would release it for everyone... would be very helpful. You can read the TMC interview w/ Tony & Philippe describing the patch (just search for 'patch')...

FYI Voicemail BLF with FreePBX 2.11

I would greatly appreciate it Andrew!!! The idea is to have the best of FreePBX, PiaF, Asterisk, etc... and thankfully there is very little you can't do w/ PiaF being installed from source! (I greatly enjoy your endpoint manager, but try to stay away from all things Google)

Oh, that's horrible... what patch is Tony referring to then?

FYI Voicemail BLF with FreePBX 2.11

I just stumbled upon this and find it to be extraordinarily helpful... Tony, do you have a the link to the patch? I've searched & searched (review board included) and can't seem to find it, very interested!

    Call Files?

Glad it was an easy fix for you, those are the best  Standing Question: How to use `#` and `*` in callfile channel string?

    PIAF SugarCRM CE install program

Just to confirm my sanity... are you able to get ADAT to work w/ Outlook 2010 x64? (I never have been able)

    Call Files?

What I'm saying is that you should NOT need `exten => s,1,Answer` ... get rid of it entirely and modify first line to be `exten => s,1,Wait(1)` I believe your issue to be that you're telling Asterisk to answer an already answered call, and is dying @ s,1. I do not believe the issue to be that...

    Call Files?

Your call should already be answered... you should simply have to wait and proceed. Here's my question for everyone: How come Asterisk can't seem to process a channel of SIP/Whatever/#123456789 such that #'s and *'s are never passed on to the trunk (only 123456789), and how would I get those...

    RFC: Comments on Asterisk 1.8.9.2 & 10.1.2

My current assumption is that Asterisk 10 will be treated like Asterisk 1.6 was in being a stepping stone to Asterisk 11. I just hope they learn from the mistakes of the past in making it a more comfortable transition :)

    RFC: Comments on Asterisk 1.8.9.2 & 10.1.2

That's not the question Tom was asking, but I definitely agree with your answer! To this day, every single system that we send out continues to be Asterisk 1.4 and FreePBX 2.9.x... unless a site is looking for integration with Exchange or something that only 1.6+ would get you. Having said...

    ITExpo in Miami Beach

Maybe; I give it a 50/50 chance, depending on if it slows down a bit @ work... no booth, but might make some rounds, we'll see. It's nice to see the toys, but tends to be more for the sales guys imo (right in my backyard).
