Fixed!! Got the hint from here: http://pbxinaflash.com/community/index.php?threads/no-inbound-calls.14602/#post-93904 It has to do with the handling of inbound tokens, apparently. Whatever that means. I really don't care; just had to make the durn thing work.

Not a firewall nor a port issue, since the invites that fail get to the UUT and look identical to the invites that succeed. All the traffic gets to the SIP server under test, but Asterisk isn't acting on these invites. What else could be jamming us up?

Perhaps a setting so that any changes made to a page results in a popup dialog saying, "Discard changes?" whenever the admin goes to leave a page without saving said changes. This is child's play in Jabbascript.
