NEED MORE INFO AudioCodes MP-114 FXS/FXO Configuration problems

Thanks! That helped out a bit but I'm still having odd issues. I think I'll be dropping a message to AudioCodes. I did rebuild the gateway like yours which works it seems, but calls are still weird. Calls from SIP phones to the extension on the Gateway works fine. Calls from the extension on...

NEED MORE INFO AudioCodes MP-114 FXS/FXO Configuration problems

I haven't yet, it hasn't been super high on my priority list. I did finally run through and test everything today to see where things are/aren't working: FXS - cordless phone hooked up to the FXS port, X1000 on the server IP - 3cx client on my phone X1100 on the server POTS Incoming calls are...

NEED MORE INFO AudioCodes MP-114 FXS/FXO Configuration problems

Yeah. Here's the config: The PBX is currently 192.168.130.104 (to be changed once I swap it for the old one) and the AudioCodes is 192.168.130.6.

NEED MORE INFO AudioCodes MP-114 FXS/FXO Configuration problems

So as mentioned in the other thread, I went ahead and got the AudioCodes MP-114 FXS/FXO gateway to use with 3cx/whatever I pick next. It's a 2 FXS + 2 FXO gateway. I'm having a little difficulty with getting some of the configuration right (after all this is the first time I've setup a full...

    SOLVED Selecting an Analog Gateway

So after reviewing the various units, I decided to go ahead and get the AudioCodes MP-114 FXS/FXO. It seems overall to be the best unit available, although not the cheapest. Now I just need a little help figuring out some configuration issues, but that's a problem for another thread! Thanks...

    SOLVED Selecting an Analog Gateway

Here's my comparison sheet so far. I've added failover information based on what I can find out from reading around about the various units. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1xgfXFgRLIwoYRgKm64VrOAaCLntrZotvU_qirK0pUQs/edit?usp=sharing I emailed Patton since I haven't been able to find...

    SOLVED Selecting an Analog Gateway

Right now everything is going through the old Sangoma B600DE card in the old PIAF2 box (which I switched to because I wasn't happy with the quality level through the Obi110s), so as long as the quality through the new gateway is as good as that it should be fine. And if for some reason things...

    SOLVED Selecting an Analog Gateway

It looks like the Sangoma is the only one in my list so far that IS rackmount. hah. Price wise, the Grandstream set is the cheapest cost per port, followed by the Sangoma, then Audiocodes and finally Patton at the top (although the Audiocodes and Patton are very close). I'm working on building...

    SOLVED Selecting an Analog Gateway

Yeah I considered figuring out how to trunk through the old PBX..but don't really want to go that way. I want to keep the old one as is in case of emergency. :) I hadn't looked at Audiocodes..I see the MP114 2 FXS + 2 FXO box..I'll add that to my comparison list. I do have an Audiocodes ATA...

    SOLVED Pondering upgrade options

Tagging this one Solved since I've decided to go for 3CX (for now at least..I'll probably play with Wazo more later on to see if I like it better).

    SOLVED Selecting an Analog Gateway

Since I've decided to virtualize my PBX, and have decided to (for now at least) use 3CX as my system, I need to select an Analog Gateway to handle that analog stuff. My current requirements are 2 FXO (POTS and an OOMA Telo) and 1 FXS (DECT Phone System). Originally I used a couple Obi110...

    SOLVED Pondering upgrade options

So I have a vm spun up with my free 3cx license that I've started playing with. So far so good! I got my main SIP trunks all copied over and have run a few quick tests. I'll probably spin up one of my Obi 110's to test out adding FXS/FXO, but if I decide to go ahead and switch over I'll...

    SOLVED Pondering upgrade options

hmmm...I DO have a couple old Obi110s I believe still around somewhere..I think one worked fine and the other was flaky..but I could always pick up another device...The Ooma just needs to be an incoming line. For POTS I use it as incoming and outgoing (for local calls from the house extension)...

    SOLVED Pondering upgrade options

I wish I could..unfortunately it's the parent's land line and they don't want to give it up (I even offered them one of my unused DIDs when we just moved but they insisted on keeping the land line and porting the number to the new place). I also have an old Ooma that I use as my direct to...

    SOLVED Pondering upgrade options

So I'm still running my trusty PIAF 2.0.6.4 box...and I figure I should probably start considering upgrade options. :) I see there's a number out there now such as the shiny new PIAF 5 or WAZO, so I'm trying to decide what option(s) I should try out to see if they would work and figured I'd...

    SOLVED Non-Existent IP Phones Showing?

Aha! Yeah it's the WebRTC support. I totally forgot about that. Thanks! The grep shows them in extensions_additional.conf and sip_additional.conf And yeah..forgot the info. PIAF 2.0.6.4 FreePBX 2.11.0.43 Asterisk 11.5.1 (I haven't tried backing up and upgrading yet) I don't have the newer...

    SOLVED Non-Existent IP Phones Showing?

So I've been cleaning up/simplifying my setup and I noticed that the IP Phones Online count doesn't match my actual extensions (there's 2 more in the count than I have setup). When I look at the Asterisk Sip Info I see extensions 991100 and 991403 listed as Unknown status (as well as the 2...

    FYI Some Smart Watch Alternatives

Saw this on the latest IndieGoGo email and thought it looked interesting. I'm not sure about the price point, but I like that someone is finally making something to give people smart features while keeping their old school watch...
