NEED MORE INFO Vitelity Registration Issues

I am having problems getting asterisk to register with vitelity. I have tried connecting with x-lite...that works no problem.

Following are my settings:
Trunk Name: vitel-inbound
Peer Details:
type=friend
dtmfmode=auto
username=MYUSERNAME
secret=MYPASSWORD
context=from-trunk ; (this could be ext-did or from-pstn as well)
insecure=port,invite
canreinvite=no
host=inbound31.vitelity.net

Registration String:
MYUSERNAME:[email protected]:5060

If I run a tcpdump I can see the DNS packet requesting inbound31.vitelity.net, and the response of 66.241.99.83. However no packets ever get sent to 66.241.99.83.

Does anyone have any ideas, before I pull out the rest of my hair?

What type install? Can you connect with the firewall disabled??
