Works great for me too! The only change I made was to delete the '5-minute snooze' option, so that the first snooze choice is 10 minutes. Just a personal preference, nothing more. Thanks for making this work!

Hmmm. No five minute lolly gagging eh? :cryin:
I don't know, some days a 5 minute nap sounds like a pretty great idea!
Glad its working for you!

Ok. I did not really want to use the module anyway, so I am ignoring that part. I am fine with using *68, but is there any way to point (forward) *62 to *68 in case I forget?

Your sorta missing the point.
You didn't follow the instructions, and both of the versions of Wakeup call have been negatively impacted.

At the very least - UNINSTALL the module (In FreePBX) - that *might* restore your previous functionality at *62. But again, in not following the initial install instructions you are a little "off the beaten path", and I wouldn't be surprised if you need to pick one version or the other, and reinstall it.
Either way - best of luck -

TShif,

Sorry if I made it confusing. I uninstalled the module and the other wake up call non-module and I have the module working now.

Thanks!

I've installed the module. I dial *68. The voice prompt sound quality is garbled.

I am dialing through a Polycom 550

Any body know whay might have broken the sound?

Hmmm. The module (as did the original scripts) uses sound files which are already on your system. How is your CPU load - could the PBX be desiring a reboot?
Next time you experience this issue - try doing an echo test from the same phone - and listen carefully to the audio quality; How is the echoed audio quality?

Yep, I want a 'good solid 10 minutes', or I may as well get up ! Ha!

My 'only' other feature request would be: what's the best way to handle a wake-up call that rings an extension, and the person doesn't answer (in the shower, say) or is already on the phone, and the call gets dumped into voicemail? Thinking out loud here... would it not be beneficial to detect the potential call 'transfer' to voicemail and cancel the call, and try again 'x' minutes later?. Or, just cancel the call alltogether, as I don't see the need to have it go to voicemail, which then might have call forwarding activated (oh, wait ... that might be handy if I hadn't made it back home last night!), or some other form of paging/ring group feature set up?

"Create a custom destination". That is where I'm confused. Where and how do I do that?

"Create a custom destination".
Under tools in FreePBX, click the button marked custom destinations.

Some knowledge of dial plans is required.

Dear tshif,
great work. I'd like to enrich with a feature asked for by a customer, i.e. recording missed wakeup calls in a proper way, so that someone can go knock at the door of the sleeper. Couldn't find where your code just deletes the file in the spool dir, after the retries. Could you kindly address me ? Many thanks

Thanks for the kind words - I have sent you a private message so we can move forward with your ideas.
