I am looking at a deployment of a very remote PBX (in a west African Country). The landline infrastructure in that country is minimal, but they do have an extensive cellular network, but even that doesn't have coverage to all areas.
I seem to recall that there are SIP to GSM or similar gateways that will allow relatively seamless integration into cell networks (Assuming that GSM == 3G == 4G for all intents and purposes), but we will also have a Sat Phone Requirement.
ANy thoughts on integrating Sat Phones as extensions on a PBX?
