Hi

Inspect the script to see where ico_fax.png should be located, then use this copy zipped up and attached to this post, and put it in the same location.

Ward, you may want to consider hosting this file, and adjusting the script to suit.

If you clicked on the User button in the PIAF GUI, it will change to Admin AND the Fax icon will appear as shown below. You shouldn't need to adjust anything...

This looks odd. I see an error on page 50 referring to an absence of RPM tools, but rpm was needed to install all of the other supporting packages (which it looks like it did install).

Then the following error indicates that it can't find the database, not that avantfax isn't installed.

Perhaps I missed it, but does the /var/www/html/avantfax directory exist or not on your server? If so, does its subdirectory /includes/ also exist?

I just loaded up a new Incredible PBX v2 box, incredible loaded fine but as with grillovegas, something went terribly wrong in the Avantfax install.

Hi

The issue is on page 50 of the log file posted earlier.

Code:
no package provides php-pear-Mail-Mime
no package provides php-pear-Mail
no package provides php-pear-Net-SMTP
no package provides php-pear-MDB2-Driver-mysql
Error: failed to provide necessary RPM tools, exiting

The script calls Avantfax's own script that does the Avantfax installation. It would appear that the packages above are not in the repository that PIAF uses, and for this reason the install fails.

You may consider getting these packages installed manually, then running the Avantfax install script manually which from memory, you will find in the /usr/src/avantfax directory.

If you get a solution, let us know.

all depends on what repo they are stored in.

if it is centos AND you have not upgraded to php 5.3.x using the update100 program... then look in the /etc/yum.repos.d and open CentOS.repo using your favorite editor. PRIOR TO RUNNING THE INCREDIBLE INSTALLER

and look for lines similar to exclude=kernel* php* apr* https*

if this line exists AND YOU HAVE NOT RUN update100 manually from our beta site then simply remove all instances of this line and leave in exclude=kernel*

THEN RUN THE INSTALL INCREDIBLE program

and see what happens. Looks like we found some incompatibilities with upgrading to the current version of PHP as those packages have not been converted over to php 5.3.x

Those RPMs were added to the install script last week; however, something got lost in the server shuffle. Just download a current copy of the script. You also can find current copies of all of the RPMs in our Source Repo.

Great, thank you Ward ,

Just a Question... did you already fix the incredible pbx 2.0 installer too ??? Or do we have to install the fax script from this one ?

It downloads the latest version of Incredible Fax at the time you run the Incredible PBX installer. So, going forward, you'd get the current version. If you ran it yesterday, then you need to manually delete the copy in /root and download it again.
