In my outbound rules I have it set to prepend a 1 to all 10 digit US calls so that my users can dial either 10 or 11 digits anywhere in the US. This was done because when I first set everything up my carriers required a 1 for US calls.
No big deal, but I just found out today that anything I prepend in the outbound routes area does not actually prepend. It's sending the number out with only the 10 digits, which is apparently completing just fine, but it's bugging me that I can't manipulate the outpulsed digits.
This all came about because I wanted to send calls to 800-373-3411 when folks dial 411, but that isn't happening.
My current US outbound routes are shown below and have been working (so I thought) flawlessly for years. I know it used to prepend the 1 on 10 digit calls at one time, but I have no idea when it actually stopped working.
All of my production boxes are 3.0.6.5, 2.11.0.38, 11.10.2, 2.9.1.1, 1.4.15 and SL kernel 2.6.32-431.11.2.el6.i686 except one which is CO kernel 2.6.32.20.3.el6.x86_64
