jeff.h: You must be a mind-reader. It's in the updated download now together with the create-swapfile-DO script. Will check on the other errors.
LOL that is the second time today that I have been called a mind reader.... I better pick up a lottery ticket!

More bunny hat tricks added. 4 p.m. build and tarball should now work with CentOS 6.5. Testing as we speak...

Let me get through a successful build before you start. I'll post a note when it's confirmed to be working. Then I won't owe you another penny. :001 9898:

Pay dirt. Go for it! Just follow the revised NV tutorial. And use 64-bit CentOS 6.5 or 7.

Fixed. File got whacked somehow. Should work the next time you log in... or just run these commands once, and you'll have everything:
Code:
service iptables restart
service ip6tables restart
chkconfig iptables on
chkconfig ip6tables on
iptables-restart

If you're on CentOS 7, add the following:
Code:
systemctl disable firewalld.service
systemctl stop firewalld.service

This might have been stated somewhere else but it was news to me, Centos 7 does not run in 32bit environments and Centos may or may not release a 32bit version. So if you are using a resource starved device that won't run a 64bit OS to load PBXIAF, don't waste your time downloading 7 as you will need to stick with the 32bit 6.5 version. Or you might think about going with Ubuntu 14.04 as that is available in a 32bit version.

Edit 8-7-14: The new installer for Centos 7 won't install to a 32bit environment anyway, it tells you in the beginning it's for 64 bit systems only.

I have always been curious about the 4 iax fax trunks that show as being online, but I can never seem to figure out where they are actually located. I dont see them in the Ubuntu version of iPBX and thought that it must have been a result of installing the old iPBX on top of PIAF, but I see them in CentOS installs using the standalone iPBX installer.

It's driving my OCD crazy

Name/Username Host Mask Port Status Description
iax-fax0 127.0.0.1 (S) 255.255.255.255 4570 UNREACHABLE
iax-fax1 127.0.0.1 (S) 255.255.255.255 4571 UNREACHABLE
iax-fax2 127.0.0.1 (S) 255.255.255.255 4572 UNREACHABLE
iax-fax3 127.0.0.1 (S) 255.255.255.255 4573 UNREACHABLE
4 iax2 peers [0 online, 4 offline, 0 unmonitored]

And while we are on the subject. I just installed a fresh copy on CentOS 7 and see this in extension 701...

ERROR: No FAX modules detected!
Fax-related dialplan will NOT be generated.
This module requires Fax for Asterisk (res_fax_digium.so) or spandsp based app_fax (res_fax_spandsp.so) to function.

I am seeing the same FAX error as above.
Also seeing an issue with EndPoint manager not able to download any packages. Switching to GIT mode does work however.

Are Schmooze modules still considered iffy or possibly broken on Centos 7?

I still have the fax error noted above if that is part of your question.
