Well, you need to understand that this is a free project that these guys work on in there spare time. They get donations and that's it. If Digium changed something in the code, or CentOS, they have to spend there free time to fix the add on software that the other products broke.

Does it suck that you couldn't get it up and running before the new year, yes it does. Is it going to kill you to wait, no it's not.

I really appreciate the project and I had already donate for It (I'm sure that it's not enough, but I do better next year). I also appreciate especially the dev team with her great advice and high contribution, and also all members !.

Sure, waiting "wont kill me" as you said (), but I posted as usual to see if there are members around here, even in week end.

good morning...I moved my foxconn green box from my house where it was burning in for weeks to the synagogue this morning and it seems asterisk and mysql wont start i retried a update-prorams/fixes and got some errors see attached file.

seems that webmin doesnt work either so something got hosed. as an FYI this box only has an SSD in it no physical drive.

Hi,
from time to time and for unknown reason, i have also "DB error : connection failed" when a access to freepbx gui. I used to do this bellow via ssh (do not ask me why because not expert but find it somewhere over internet : link)

service mysqld stop
mv /var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock /var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock.bak
service mysqld start

hope that fix your problem ??.

Found the problem. In the new version, you can't sudo from root, so the line that checks the asterisk version is getting an improper output. If you change the "grep -m 2 ^" to "grep -m 1 ^" it solves the problem.

Will have a fix incorporated into the installer shortly. So much for CentOS upgrades never breaking things.

asterisk 11.7 is the cause for the script failing to extract the version.

Between 11.6 and 11.7 this was added to the output of the asterisk CLI.

I fail to see the link with centos, sudo or 6.5.

Fixed. Just remove your existing Incredible PBX 11 installer on PIAF 20650 systems (only), and download again...

cd /root
rm incrediblepbx11
rm incrediblepbx11.gz
wget http://incrediblepbx.com/incrediblepbx11.gz
gunzip incrediblepbx11.gz
chmod +x incrediblepbx11
./incrediblepbx11

Yes, I tried many pots form this forum, I can receive faxes, but no way to send any one : have already post (Piaf Green and Incrediblefax11 not worky in "Bugs" section). My Iaxmodem are shown as "online" but never get registred.
May be I'm the worst af all (one week turn aroud this install and no luck)

You tried that to fix what? Do what? You wanted to install IncrediblePBX on a freshly installed PIAF based on the last ISO?
That's the only thing this installer is for.

If you want to reinstall IncrediblePBX, yes the only option is to start from scratch.

It doesn't work like that, which SQL issues? Why discuss this in this thread?
Who else have this problem? Can it be reproduced on a freshinstall? with or without incrediblePBX/Fax, how?

This thread was about the incrediblePBX installer being broken with asterisk >= 11.7.
There was a temporary work around provided to allow people to install with the broken installer by modifying it, then Ward fixed the installer directly and uploaded the fixed version for people to use if they had not installed yet by modifying the broken installer themselves with the work around.
The rest is mostly impossible to follow based on the content of the posts and the lack of information and context.

If you think there is a problem with something as of right now. Find how to replicate it or document it well so we can understand the context and what leads to it.
Then post a new thread with ALL the required information.

I messed up my install of Incredible PBX at the point where it started asking about Travel Man. Is it still true as below that you can't start the installer again? I'd like not to re-install everything from scratch, but I will. Related question: what is the best backup program for Centos 6.5 that I can use to make an image to another partition. I downloaded and tried one, but it make the cpu run hot and the fan went crazy and it kind of freaked me out. I'll back up next time before I run the incredible pbx installer again if I have to start over...
