    Hi,

Does PBX in a flash support gtalk from install, or do I have to download extra components to make it work?

    thanks

Asterisk 1.4 natively supports jingle/jabber and in fact you can check that in Asterisk CLI by Jabber Show Connected and etc commands...

However, I had hard time getting it work that way. So, if you search Trixbox forum you will find detailed configuration on how to incorporate gtalk2voip with your FreePBX to take advantage of a gtalk call. Remember that this will create a sip trunk to gtalk2voip host and then connect to msn, gtalk, or yahoo servers...

Ofcourse, this is not the desired method as gtalk2voip is not very transaparent and requires extra steps.

I hope that Tom comes up with a script or a module for freePBX to use the gtalk functionality of Asterisk 1.4 in PBXinaFLash.
