I have a Cisco 7960 configured with 2 lines

701 is the extension, and
0701 as an auto answer for paging.

I can dial 0701 and this works as I expected.

I am trying to create a paging group using the "Paging" module....

1. Add 0701 from the not listed extensions
2. Press [Submit]
3. It adds 0701 and 701 to the list.

I suppose I need to rethink my numbering scheme ?

System info if required...

Thought I remember seeing this but see nothing in the bug tracker on it from a quick search.

Verify you have the latest 2.11 Paging module if you do and its still happening please wander over to issues.freepbx.org and open a bug report so we can get it fixed.

Thanks

Hi phoneguy, I upgraded the Paging module to 2.11.0.9 and I get the same behaviour.
I will try and raise a ticket on the link you provided - thanks

OK sounds great. Will get someone on it ASAP once I see the ticket. Sorry about that but this is why we ask for bug reports as forum post get lost and we do not monitor them for bugs generally.

Ya you are giving us way to much credit on it being done that fast. Average bug ticket takes awhile to work through the system unless its a security issue or a major breaks everything but its on our radar screen so it will be picked up and Triaged on our every Friday meeting when we review all new tickets.

I have done a test and this revolves around your leading 0.

The why is unclear and will be discovered in normal process.

I tested with other leading digits:
1234
11234
81234

The behavior is not the same.

My recommendation for instant gratification is to use a different leading digit such as 8701.
