First I would like to start out with noting that this project has made me even more appreciative of Ward and Company in their PBX in a Flash releases. We take for granted when you can just down load an image install it and it works you don't really know how involved it is to DIY.
This is a 1.7 gig quad core / 2gig memory uses 4-5 watts of power Its a screamer!
Any not familiar with Odroid Boards see: http://www.hardkernel.com
Ok having said that this was still a fun project and I still have most of my hair left.
I started out with this server image provided by mdrjr
http://forum.odroid.com/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=1566
I then installed NTP time server and Webmin I then installed Asterisk 11.5.1 , FreePBX 2.11
I even was able to get FOP2 working ver 2.27 I believe it is the same version used for the raspberry
I had some issues with caller ID so I needed to install curl and recompile I use an external look up source (HTTP)
I also had problems getting CDR reports working but got it going!
I have installed all this on a 16 G class 10 SD card Originally I had it on a 8 gig card but decided to use a larger card. I have 20 extensions and have had 4 simultaneous call going on and it is still works and sounds great!
I have had this running for 2 months or so and it has worked GREAT! I have lowered my power consumption from a computer that was using 150 watts to 4 watts Yahoo!!
I installed the small board in to a one rack unit case.
I also have another Odroid X2 running as a Domain controller Active Directory. SAMBA4, DNS, DHCP, NTP. Saving even more power!
