Hey guys,
I have a problem with my load average creeping up throughout the day. I recently noticed this after installing Schmooze's Pax Pro plugin.
Emails from the server were being queued and then rejected (as a result of the queue thresholds in sendmail.cf). I noticed at that point that our load average was ~1000! After a reboot the average drops <1 but slow creeps up, maybe around 1 per 30seconds or so.
At the same time I've noticed that our fail2ban is unable to start.
Any ideas?
