Hi I have a system, ran without error for a year but has jumped to 100% CPU twice in 5 days....
restarted 24 hours ago CPU now at 0% as usual still what could be causing this ?

Thanks very odd, last time it froze up, never had this before, still totally OK at the moment.

The last time that happened to me it turned out to be a dying drive in the machine.

yes I suspected that, I have a seagate drive in there , I never, ever use seagate now....

php is maxing out two processors at 99% I restart and all is ok for a few days and then wham it goes mad again.
