Can we get a fix for the Kennonsoft Menu for Google Chrome. It's so broken and not working. I've looked at four different machines and it's the same story. (In google chrome only)

The slider at the bottom doesn't work.

The JS Error is "Uncaught TypeError: Cannot set property 'checked' of undefined"

I can head this up and fix it if need be...........

Is there a reason we can't just get rid of it?
  4. I agree, but what to replace it with and a few suggestions:

If someone with an extension wanted to schedule a reminder for themselves (or even someone else for that matter) they have to know either the maint or wwwadmin passwords. Why? could reminders be restricted (as is now but using the ext/vm password as the recordings menu does?

A2Billing (at least on my RentPBX purple- no, not the special one - yet) doesn't work and those options dropped off.

an easy way to have someone update a recoding without full access (as a cancellation of a baseball practice or the like where the coach can 'web in' to create the text (if TTS were an option)

The Kennsoft menu is nice but it does break in Chrome (so I use FF) the switch doesn't work but you can click on the word admin and it does show the options then. It just looks ugly.

Replace it with the top-level freepbx menu?

There's a very good reason. It includes our RSS Feed to notify users of security alerts with PBX in a Flash.

    Sigh... Good point.

Sorry to hear of the disappointment guys! FWIW, the menu was written 4-5 yrs ago for Trixbox before Fonality, since the original menu was ugly, static and showed tons of icons regardless of what you actually had installed (confusing). Plus no way to tailor out the Admin stuff for the average user who could care less. So we built it for ourselves and donated it to the cause, a coupe updates later we tweaked it for PBIAF with a little direction from Ward as to what was preferred visually here and there.

In short, all the Apps as we all know have their own security and the menu is simply an easy way to organize them for access without remembering URL's, etc.

As of the moment, time permitting we intend to overhaul it to be a little slicker/more-contemporary --- however, we wouldn't mind in the least if someone would step-up and take over creating a new one, so we don't have to!

Nonetheless, there is an updated version in "testing" using HTML5/CSS3/jQuery underpinnings (planning ahead for the *possible* new one) and runs perfectly in Chrome 9/10 in our tests anyway.

Might check it out to at least get the ugly beast tactical again?
