Grandstream has an IP discovery tool for windows.

I am looking for something similar for linux. Anyone know of a tool I can use to sniff out which phones are where on a lan from within the lan? Or is the best way to go wireshark or the above tool in wine?

    Thank you.

@rjm: Here's what we use. Substitute your LAN subnet for 192.168.0.0:

    Code:
    nmap -v -sP 192.168.0.0/24 | sed '/host down/d'
