TIPS Invalid IVR Option Invalid

When a caller dials an invalid option on an ivr menu, they're forwarded to a "Congratulations you've installed asterisk..." message. How do we disable this message?

I don't understand what you mean by "status", but /var/log/asterisk/messages shows the following whenever this occurs:
ERROR[28458][C-000002fb] pbx.c: Function LANGUAGE not registered

At the command prompt, issue the command status and post the results.

Doing it as "pi" gave me errors. So I ran "sudo status" instead. Results attached.

Postfix is running without issues

When you create an IVR (aka Voice Menu) with Asterisk-GUI, you can set a destination for Invalid (i) responses:

Perhaps that's the issue then. As we're also seeing this when leaving a voicemail: If you press #, and then 1 to accept the message...wait 2 seconds. You'll be greeted with the same congratulations message.

Is there any way to set a global default for invalid responses?

I don't think so. Sorry. You could change the Congratulations message which would do the same thing. Just rename some other sound file as /var/lib/asterisk/sounds/en/demo-congrats.gsm.

For the record, our servers running the demo IVR don't play this file when an invalid option is chosen even when no Invalid option has been set. Have you "improved" anything other than substituting Postfix??
