TUTORIAL Install Script for CentOS Host

Discussion in 'Add-On Install Instructions' started by Sean Branam, Dec 10, 2013.

I looked on the forum for this answer, but was unable to find anything.

What I'm hoping to do is install pbx in a flash on a fresh CentOS install.
I can't use the iso, because the hosting site our organization uses only allows fresh installs of the OS , which they provide.

Any info would be of help.
    TIA!

Once upon a time, there was a script that would install PIAF 1.7.x on a standard CentOS install, but PIAF 1.7.x is deprecated. Perhaps someone else can be of more help.

Brilliant! I'll give this a shot.

Looking at the file and following along each command, I can see what you did. I will certainly have to try this.
    thanks!!!!

    Super cool.
Its quite ironic because that was going to be my next hosting company, I was going to try it on.
    The first one failed miserably.

you should also retry this method on the first provider you tried.
the problem you had was probably not specific to the provider.

This worked great! I want to try and script this so we can just download the iso and run a script.

    HWDSL2,

Found a small issue. bind-utils needs to be installed also, for traveling man to work properly. I would add that in the package list. :)
