Thanks for the reply! Yes, I just did last night.. im still seeing better performance in the raspberry pi (maybe because of the OS? )

Here are the areas where I find more difficult to find information for the cubox.
- The e-mail configuration (SendMail) when I ran the script is not working for Gmail
- The tutorial for samba that you posted for the cubox when I try to restart the services.
- IVR using GoogleTTS (making a weird sound)

Thanks for your tutorials and tips I have been learning a lot of VOIP in the past weeks.

cbxbiker61 in the Solid-Run forum put up a 3.14.18 kernel on xilka.com. Yes, the Solid-Run approved kernel that is starting to shape up nicely but might be still be a little rough.

So I flirted with it with cbxbiker's excellent scripts - everything came up just fine EXCEPT for the firewall. Not sure what's wrong there. Ubuntu might be out of step with it or cbx just didn't configure in enough of netfilter.

So with a flick of a switch, I went back to 3.10.54. Did I say cbx's scripts were excellent?

What about odroid u3? It is a beast of a machine and it is under 60 dollars. How about an install script to allow PBX in a Flash to be run on this machine? I currently use fusion PBX on my u3 and it doesn't break a sweat. I can't think of a better combination than the u3 and incredible pbx

Find someone to get Debian or Ubuntu running, and we'll have a look. :smartass:

But what's wrong with the CuBox?? Better specs and not much more money.

It runs both... I am currently running Ubuntu 14.04...I don't really think the cubox has better specs for the money... I mean the u3 has a 1.7g processor and 2 gigs of ram for under 60 dollars... You almost have to spend twice that to get a comparable cubox...just a suggestion

That $59 promotion is over. I see $65 now. You need to buy a power supply, case (very cheap plastic) and special hdmi cable to make it viable for development and eventual deployment.. Another $20?

I guess the faster processor w/ 4 cores and very generous RAM makes it a decent value. No gig ethernet but it's not a dealbreaker.

Download the Ubuntu install script and you have a pbx. That's how I got the ball rolling here for Cubox.
