A new version of Incredible PBX 12 was pushed out this morning to address the "improvements" in FreePBX 12. Just follow the original tutorial to install.

Ok just came across this after the initial reboot and iptables was showing as down. I did an iptables-restart and got this output.

root@FreePBX12:~# iptables-restart

******** 10-SECOND WARNING ALERT ***********
IPtables FQDN problem on line: 2
The unresolvable FQDN is kmod_lookup_alias_from_builtin_file().
This rule will be temporarily disabled to allow IPtables to start.
Check and correct line 2 in /etc/iptables/rules.v4.
******** 10-SECOND WARNING ALERT ***********

* Loading iptables rules...
* IPv4...
* skipping IPv6 (no rules to load)... [fail]
IPtables problems noted above were temporarily fixed.
Fix the problems identified in /etc/iptables/rules.v4
IPtables now running without the offending rules(s).
root@FreePBX12:~#

I should also mention that even though it says the issue is temporarily fixed and iptables has started... it actually does not.

jeff.h: Sorry but I can't replicate the problem. Just did a fresh install using Incredible PBX 12 on D.O. and it worked fine. Did you create a swap file?? Perhaps you ran out of memory during the install.

OK, built it again and iptables works now, but I get this security error about unsigned modules and one tampered file. I have done nothing other than run the install, reboot and login to the admin GUI.

You have 5 unsigned modules
Module "ConfigEdit" is unsigned and should be re-downloaded
Module "AsteriDex" is unsigned and should be re-downloaded
Module "phpMyAdmin" is unsigned and should be re-downloaded
Module "Reminders" is unsigned and should be re-downloaded
Module "Sys Info" is unsigned and should be re-downloaded

You have 1 tampered files
Module: FreePBX Framework, File: /var/lib/asterisk/bin/freepbx_engine altered

Unsigned modules are fine. Not sure about the tampered one.

I read the whole thing about sig checking, my point is that it must have gotten turned back on by default between my build yesterday and today. I had zero errors on the GUI yesterday, just with iptables. LOL now that iptables is working I have errors on the GUI.

They've ALWAYS been unsigned. Only FreePBX inventions are signed currently. Just turn off signature checking in Advanced Options and you're done. When you upgrade modules, FreePBX will turn signature checking back on again. Just turn it back off.

No Joy With Incredible PBX 12!

Just re-installed this morning, using the following:

cd /root
wget http://incrediblepbx.com/incrediblepbx12.tar.gz
tar zxvf incrediblepbx12.tar.gz rm incrediblepbx12.tar.gz
./IncrediblePBX12.sh

This is on a VPS with 2GB ram running Ubuntu 14.04.

After install is complete, I get:

Always run Incredible PBX behind a hardware-based firewall.
root@realtime:~# amportal restart
Please wait...
FATAL: can not find freepbx_engine to start Asterisk root@realtime:~#

Same issues with GUI.

I also experienced this error on two separate clean installs.

If you need to modify IPtables before locking it down, press CTRL-C now.
To REBOOT your server and lock down IPtables Firewall, press ENTER.

Please wait...
FATAL: can not find freepbx_engine to start Asterisk
* Stopping MySQL database server mysqld [ OK ]
* Stopping web server apache2 *
* Will now restart

I also noticed "Asterisk: DN" on the status screen after reboot.

I am running Ubuntu 14 on ESXi 4
