When I read the thread title I was thinking the Granddaddy-of-GoogleVoice-Grand-Central kinda Gizmo...

to put that in perspective, you could buy nearly 3 intel galileos for that price

Unless you're planning to install phones for an entire Fortune 500 company, I gotta ask... WHY?

I am dreaming big
But honestly the Galileo is uninteresting to me, it performs worse than the rasberrypi, arduino and others plus it costs more. Initially was going to try and use a Galileo in my weather balloon project but we went arduino instead.
There are so many great development boards out at the moment, it is great to have choices.
