NO JOY FAIL2BAN Expert ?

Can anyone tell me if Fail2ban is supposed to be able to find this pid file and if so what should be in it ?

fail2ban creates the pid file, containing the process ID (pid) of fail2ban, upon startup.

This information is used later to send signals (kill, hup) to the process.

So really it's not the pid that is the problem, it's all these "default" definitions that it's missing. Maybe just a configuration file it's looking for that is not where it's expected to be ?
