BUG didforsale stinks

I closed port 5060 on the router now didforsale don't work,
stupid serivce. I want my money back.

Hi

It is likely that the act of closing 5060 has stopped Didforsale working, as from memory, you don't have a trunk to didforsale keeping port 5060 by the magic of NAT.

You need to re-open port 5060, but only from didforsale's IP addresses so you are secure from hacking attacks. didforsale should provide the IP addresses you need to allow SIP traffic from.

Failing this, you would need to get a carrier that you register with.

I just turned off the breaker box to my house and now the only computer that works is my iPad. Stupid, Dell.

Normally not an issue if access to the port is restricted to their IP addresses OR if there is a registration string which causes Asterisk to "keep in touch" with them thereby forcing the router to keep the port open for their IP automatically.

Best scenario is static ip on your end, router with open 5060 to their addresses and no registration string.

Ok for those of you reading who are not into berating those of us
with disabilities, please allow me to ask, how do I go about
entering more than one IP address from the service? I put in one,
but when I try to enter the second IP they tell me to, it does not
let me, the modem that is, is actiontec defective modems or what?

It looks to me, step 3, you could have multiple definitions. The ports should be going to your PBX.
