Cisco 7941 won't register

I am trying to connect some Cisco 7941G phones to PIAF Purple. I re-flashed one of the phones to SIP41.9-2-1SR2S via cterm-7941_7961-sip.9-2-1SR2.zip and created the xml files to configure it;
SEP{mac}.cnf.xml
XMLDefault.cnf.xml
dialplan.xml
The phone picks up its files via t*f*t*p and seemingly configures properly but gets stuck on "Registering" for several minutes and never connects. I have set NAT to "no" on the extension and "never" in Asterisk Sip Settings on Freepbx and still no go.
If some one could look over the linked xml files and advise me it would be greatly appreciated.

The XML files look fine, but your asterisk settings are wrong. Only change the extension NAT settings to "never" and leave the Asterisk one alone. I have setup lots of Cisco 79xx phones and these settings work on all my phones.

Thanks for the response duggerd. I tried some changes based on your advice and still am not having any luck. Right now I have my NAT settings like;
nat.jpg

and my extension settings like;
ext.jpg

I also enabled sip debugging and got the following when the 7941 tried to register;
I3FS*CLI> sip set debug on
SIP Debugging enabled

Oddly enough, I have successfully connected a 7940 via sip, but this 7941 is kicking me around like a soccer ball. Any ideas?

I have continued working on this and found that I could get a SIP/2.0 200 OK via sip debug by using a shorter extension secret:

<--- Transmitting (no NAT) to 10.10.10.74:5060 --->
SIP/2.0 200 OK
Via: SIP/2.0/UDP 10.10.10.74:5060;branch=z9hG4bK48165401;received=10.10.10.74

The phone still doesn't show as registered, but I can dial it from another extension and it will ring... but you can't answer it. Curiouser and curiouser.

Qualify in the extension settings should be set to "yes" for a 7941. Also try the phone with iptables and fail2ban stopped.

duggerd, I appreciate all the time you have put into this. I changed the quality to "yes" and turned off iptables (I had already turned off fail2ban) and still no go.
I have also factory reset the phone and started over.. this thing almost has me whipped, my 7940 continues working merrily along.
Do you have any working xml files I might download?
