RECOMMENDATIONS Solving GV forwarding issues

I was wondering if i simply have PIAF configured with GV and then have it forward to vestalink or other providers or cell phone through extensions would work better than having gv forward the calls

You'll have much better results porting your number OUT of GV to a more reliable provider. It's the old story of the strength of a chain only being as strong as its weakest link. :001 9898:

I have the fear of porting the # then loosing it if the company closes its doors, i believe this has happened to a few VOIP providers

Just use a reputable one, not the cheapest out there, and find out who the underlying carrier is of your number. Anyone who's been around for a decade likely isn't headed under.
