We're going to begin weekly regular testing of the leading Incredible PBX builds to assure that no wrinkles have crept into the mix through changes/mods by outside developers or by us. This takes away from development time but hopefully will assist new users that encounter show-stopper errors and don't know where to turn. The latest test date is shown in the status screenshots below. HINT: Choose one of the tested platforms and try again. NOTE: .1/.2 releases have Google Voice support with plaintext passwords while .3 releases have Google Voice OAUTH2 authentication only.
Except for Raspberry Pi 2 platform, tests will be performed on 512MB Digital Ocean or 1024MB VirtualBox platform using supported-bit architecture. If you're seeing different results using the same OS, architecture, and Incredible PBX build, then your hardware or network is the problem. All Incredible PBX builds use the identical Incredible PBX GUI image! 32-bit support is being added to some builds to facilitate use on Cloud platforms.
Whenever you seek support on the forum, please include a link to a screenshot similar to those shown below. Your operating system and software versions matter in diagnosing problems. Be sure to conceal your public IP address!
As we complete each of the tests, we will post the results below with any notes/fixes required. Typically, if bugs are found, they will be addressed and a new image will be uploaded immediately. This will be documented as part of the testing procedure.
Current Checklist: Clean status report. Asterisk not running as root. HylaFax/AvantFax alive and well with no duplicate faxgetty modems running. IPtables and Fail2Ban working properly. MySQL, ODBC, and AMI functional. Logins to AvantFax and GUI work. No reported errors in GUI status. Logs OK. Halt and reboot work OK. Mail test completes successfully with echo "test" | mail -s testmessage [email protected].
Giving It Your Best Shot: Be sure you always bring your operating system up to current specs before beginning an Incredible PBX install. ALWAYS download a fresh version of the chosen Incredible PBX installer before attempting a reinstall. Changes are made regularly. Detailed instructions including mods are available in the applicable Nerd Vittles tutorial. For a list of all tutorials and how to choose the one that is right for you, start here.
License: All Certified Incredible PBX Builds are pure GPL, open source code with No NagWare/CrippleWare or other Commercial components.
