ALERT cant dial into extension while its on an vpn connection

I am having issues with one extension on my piaf while its on an remote connection via (cell phone with vpn) I cant dial it from any other extensions. The extension registers ok while the cell phone is connected via vpn. I can dial out just fine. I am using zoiper on my cell phone for this extension.

have you specified both the local and VPN subnet in sip_general_custom.conf ?

ie:
localnet=192.168.0.0/255.255.255.0
localnet=192.168.2.0/255.255.255.0
