QUESTION Caller ID to follow in Ring Group

Greetings,

I am currently running Raspi PIAF with Freepbx version 2.11.0.43.

I currently have a ring group that consists of 2 local internal extensions and one custom extension which sends the call to a cell phone. When there is an incoming call, the caller ID on the cell phone is the DID of the PBX. Is there a way to forward the original DID of the caller?

Sure - that is normally what happens. What you probably have happening is that in your trunk settings for your outbound carrier, you have a fixed callerID listed in there so that every outbound call has your company callerID on it. The problem is that it is now sending it out even when forwarding the inbound call to your mobile device. Set the outbound callerID on each extension, and then don't set it on the trunk and see if it works for you. This of course is all predicated on assuming that your outbound trunk allows you to change your callerID.
