Hello,

After following the instructions to install:
BYOB: Easy Peasy PIAF-Green with Asterisk 11.8.1 and ‘Genuine’ CentOS 6.5

I get the following two error messages when logging in prior to the status screen being display...

Any ideas why? I have reinstalled again on a bare machine but it is still there.

Thank you!

Tom,

Thank you for your prompt reply...

I see that Ward posted the instructions to install Centos 6.5 in non-lvm state...

I will reinstall...

Also, hopefulyy this will help others like me that did a fresh install in the last few days :)

Thank you!

No worries. Personally I never use LVM thus I only develop for standard installs. Of course stating that brings out the flamers......

darmock / Tom,

You'll get no flame from me - I'm with you on that! It's much easier to deal with a standard install when something goes wrong instead of LVM.
LVM has it's place - just not on any of our PBXs. :)

Hello,

Sorry to bump up an old threat like this. I've recently started the process of provisioning a new PBX to replace my outdated one and I hit this issue as well. While I appreciate the hard work and awesomeness of PIAF, I feel I have to point out a few things with this "bug".

I downloaded pbxinaflash20650-i386.iso and proceeded to do a fully stock install. That PIAF-provided ISO installed on LVM with auto-partitioning. I've deployed it inside XenServer (no "fast install" or anything) and out of the box, the install was LVM. I'm not one to mess with LVM on systems that will never grow, so I'm not a big proponent of it either.

So then I decided to look into the issue a bit more. What seems to happen is your status command doesn't have the proper flag for df. So when you run "df", you should really be running "df -P". -P will force the POSIX format and this your output will be properly formatted even in LVM. It's less human readable, but more scriptable.

As a simple proof of fix:
1. mv /bin/df /bin/df.orig
2. echo "#\!/bin/bash" > /bin/df
3. echo "/bin/df.orig $1 -P" >> /bin/df
4. chmod +x /bin/df

Logout and log back in again. Problem solved.

I hope this solves the issue in the next update/release, and thanks again for the hard work and awesome product.

Ishtar,

I may be missing something, but isn't that install waaay outdated? Check sourceforge, but I think you're trying to install something that is multiple revs out of date.

Hi Andrew,

It's the latest one from "http://pbxinaflash.com/downloads/" and I used the latest piaf3-installer. The end result seems pretty up to date:

root@localhost:~ $ uname -a
Linux localhost.localdomain 2.6.32-504.12.2.el6.i686 #1 SMP Wed Mar 11 19:05:53 UTC 2015 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux
root@localhost:~ $ cat /etc/redhat-release
CentOS release 6.6 (Final)

Connected to Asterisk 11.16.0 currently running on localhost (pid = 1618)

Thank you
