You have to also (as part of the $80 initial price / $70 in rebates) install software and enroll in the auto renewal for the year. You can cancel the auto renewal between the first day of the 11th month and the year end to avoid the new charges ($ unk) for the second year.

So, if you follow all the rules you'll pay $10 net and have McAfee software running on some machine in your world. If you fail to follow the cancellation properly (or remember in my case) you'll be stuck with the additional yearly and ongoing charge.

If you can live inside their rules, this might be a nice deal.
