Welcome to the new PBX in a Flash 3 (Quick Start Guide Available Here)

(PBX in a Flash 2X is now deprecated! No New updates will occur to this version)

How we deliver PIAF

1. On the fly converter for pre existing copies of Centos or Scientific Linux. This will convert a pre installed MINIMAL version of CO or SL and make it compatible with PIAF's needs. Generally the minimal install of either will suffice however it is NOT RECOMMENDED to try to install this on a system with Xwindows installed and running!. This installer is specially designed to function either in your environment or the RentPBX environment.

STATUS: Available

2. Conversion Program (not really an installer) This program will convert your system from Centos to Scientific Linux.

STATUS: Available

3. PreBuilt Virtual Machine. This allows you to experiment with the latest and greatest versions of PIAF in a safe environment.

STATUS: Available

4. PIAF 3.6.5.X ISO This is still under development however will be released RSN. This will bring the same utility as the previous PIAF ISO's under our own OS. No more problems with RH/SL/CO and various Orwellian requirements.

STATUS: Project abandoned

5. Alternate Operating Systems - Currently developing for Fedora and Red Hat. There seems to be an Ubuntu version on the horizon.....

STATUS: Under active development

Just an FYI that we are rolling out an updated FreePBX 2.11 image as part of new installs. It does the following:

Cleaned up/updated a bunch of the FreePBX modules to bring them current. We do this as part of the install anyway, but this speeds up new installs a bit. Also disabled sqlite modules in modules.conf that were causing lockups with high call volume. We only use sqlite for PIAF registry, not Asterisk. Also turned off Kennonsoft menu overlay which was causing WebMin not to load or to come up blank. Added the index_custom.php file to /var/www/html to keep PIAF Kennonsoft menus working after Schmooze changes to index.php. We always remove DUNDI secrets from Asterisk DB. These are regenerated when you start Asterisk on your new PIAF server.

Asterisk 13 - Blue available with autoconf files. Updated all colors with the latest version of dahdi and latest version of asterisk

BTW We don't warranty anything ever but that goes double with Asterisk 13! If it works for you great! But this is beta code!
