Hi ,

I have been using piaf for a few years and love it. I am looking to move my VBOX 4.3.10 to a platform like Ubuntu. I have started testing PIAF 3.6.5 appliance on Ubuntu 12.04. So far it is painfully slow. Thought it was my Raid config, but tried on single disk and same issue. I have tried this config with piaf 2.6.5, Ubuntu 14 and 13. Installed guest add-ons. Literally takes 15 minutes to boot.

Hardware is newer supermicro server 64-bit xeon procssor

Any ideas?

Didn't know there was a PIAF release for Ubuntu. Clue us in.

I think (s)he means (s)he's running virtualbox on ubuntu and using a PIAF virtual server.

Slow virtual performance is hard to figure out - is there enough RAM on the box? Is hardware assisted virtualization working OK?
