FOOD FOR THOUGHT Error messages in system logs

Newly installed IncrediblePBX13-12.2 system on CentOS6.7. The following error messages appear repeated many times in the full system log:

Am I correct in assuming that the source of this error message is the host ID for the Incredible box? If so, how do best I go about correcting it? Is the host ID to resolve to a DNS - addressable host name? The IncrediblePBX is behind a router and is not exposed to the wild Internet.

Insight would be appreciated.

I had the same problem and had to manually edit the /etc/hosts file to add my host name to the loop back address.

I'm glad that helped. I was having fits with it the other day on a new install of iPBX. It was actually causing instability with the registration of trunk and endpoints.

So now I wonder ... on one of my iPBX systems, I have intermittent drop of the outgoing aspect of DIDs from Vitelity ... I've been suspect of outages of the Internet from my ISP, Comcast. I've made the appropriate change in my hosts file ... so it's now a 'wait and see' if the change has an effect. Here's hopin'.
