Help, I’ve been wrestling with this for a couple of days and am not getting anywhere with trying to upgrade my modules.

I’m a longtime PIAF user and have installed PAIF many times. Never had this sort of issue.

I hope someone can give me some suggestions.

Below is my issue.

Thanks in advance

Best regards
Greg

Problem:

I have a newly created PBX. It installed fine. I’ve connected extensions and can make calls so everything appears ok.

My next step was to try to upgrade the modules. In Module Administration, I’m able to click on Check Online and get a list of modules that can be upgraded. So I click on Upgrade All, and then I click on Process.

I get the following type of messages:
Please wait while module actions are performed
Downloading announcement Error(s) downloading announcement:

Downloading backup
Error(s) downloading backup:

Downloading blacklist
Error(s) downloading blacklist:

Downloading bulkdids
Error(s) downloading bulkdids:

Downloading bulkextensions
Error(s) downloading bulkextensions:

What’s strange is that from the Linux command line, I’m able to wget these modules so I don’t think connectivity to the internet is an issue.

Here’s the status page of my PBX.

Have you tried rebooting or 'service httpd restart' or 'service networking restart' or 'amportal restart' ?

Thanks all for the suggestions.

Sorry for this late post.

I've tried a number of things and reinstalled. After reinstall, everything working again.

Very strange but happy that all is up again

I actually saw this as well. But I also saw:

The system detected a problem trying to access external server data and changed internal setting MODULEADMINWGET
(Use wget For Module Admin) to true, see the tooltip in Advanced Settings for more details.

Why?, I don't know. To get out of it, I did an update-programs, update-fixes externally via a telnet session and those modules marked for update after the failed attempt (same as yours), did get updated.

I'll keep an eye on this system, but I believe it has to do with the wget module.

just had this issue today... and the 'service httpd restart' fixed it... seems like a bone-head fix for the error though... there must be a CAUSE somewhere...
