I was thinking, the pogoplug is only 128MB ram and Mysql takes a lot of ram to run. I also have a atom pc that has lots of power. Is it possible to connect mysql database to a main piaf server and/or atom pc and free up more ram? has anyone tried this?

Hi

I've not done this for years, but yes, it's likely that it can be done by changing the various config files to point at your MySQL server.

However, you may look at Ward's new project, http://nerdvittles.com/?p=11134 which is really lightweight, and I'd argue, much better suited to low power devices.
