Have an account with Voipms. IPkall DID rings into PBX but is rejected. Voipms is in Iptables.

Voipms trunk is registered

ACCEPT udp -- 208.100.39.53 0.0.0.0/0 udp dpts:5060:5069

Anyone have an idea why the call is being rejected?

Thanks,

Jeff

On your trunk definition, does it have a registration string ? Also, double-check your inbound route to make sure there is no leading 1 in your DID.

The Trunk definition has a registration string and the trunk is registered. There is no leading 1. only the number Voipms assigned .

Thanks

I have found when this hapens to me that the underlying cause is that the OS in not resolving the name lookup so it passes the IP address to asterisk, which then considers it anonymous. As a test, you can try pings the trunk from the OS command line. If the lookup fails, as a work-around, you can add the name = IP to /etc/hosts but be warned when the actual IP changes, you'll see it recur. Hope this helps.
